Cody has been called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Forth Worth, Texas Mission. It is anticipated that he will serve for a period of 24 months. Cody will report to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) at Provo, Utah on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, where he will prepare to preach the gospel.
Cody's purpose will be to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end.
We as his parents are very proud and pleased that he has chose to do the Lords work as he will lead you to those who are prepared to be baptized. The Lord will reward you for the goodness of your life. Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experience await you as you humbly and prayerfuly serve the Lord in this labor of love among his children. We pray that the lord will help you become an effective missionary.
We know that Cody will be a GREAT missionary -- he already is!! We wish Cody the best as he prepares himself to serve his Heavenly Father's children in the mission field. We will miss him; he is also a wonderful Home Teacher! We love your family and are so grateful for the friendship you have always given us.
